I am a printmaker primarily focused around the process of monotype screen-printing. However, I have used other disciplines such as painting, drawing, collage and digital work to inform and resolve my prints. My paintings and drawings show a sense of control, whereas my prints have a relaxed spontaneity about them. My most recent prints are subjective studies of The Seven Deadly Sins that portray an abstracted visual identity of each sin. As humans we are all capable of succumbing to The Seven Deadly Sins and my work shows my personal perception of how I understand and see each sin. Each print shows individual forms and colour combinations that offer a unique complication of uncomfortable emotions and feelings, revealing each sin’s true nature.
