Maria Quintin

Maria Quintin is a Bristol based artist and print-maker who uses simple natural forms as a way to investigate larger questions of identity, spirituality and what it means to be human. She is currently using cellular forms as a way to understand the complexity of colour, often turning micro into macro as she invites the viewer to immerse themselves into a microscopic world. As part of this exploration, she has been playing with whites and off-whites against each other.

"I think the subtle differences between the whites go well with the colourless cellular forms, making the invisible visible, but barely" - Maria Quintin.
